compose a simple four-line dialogue using healthcare vocabulary with
emphasis on the verbs "hurt," feel," "be," and "have," the adjectives
"sore," "sick," "dizzy," "nauseous," and the nouns "pain" and "symptoms."

and "What symptoms do you have?"

Teacher conducts grammar review by asking for
definitions of a verb, a noun and an adjective and an adverb.

Teacher reviews present and past forms of the
verbs "hurt," feel," "be," and "have."

Teacher reviews definition of the adjectives
"sore," "sick, dizzy," "nauseous," and the nouns "pain" and "symptoms."

Learners independently review names of body
parts using
Enchanted Learning or
Specialized
English Web sites.

Teacher conducts drill of body parts using
body parts flash
cards.

Paired learners match verbs with adjectives
and nouns in as many combinations as possible on a sheet of paper.

Learners compare responses with each other by
exchanging papers; one learner from each pair writes three combinations on
the board.

Teacher conducts
response drill
using the questions "What's the matter?" and "How are you feeling?" Learners
respond either with a statement of their own or with one from the board.

Paired learners write an original dialogue
using lesson vocabulary, adjectives and nouns.

Learners share dialogues, making corrections
