responses, assisting each other with forming grammatically correct complete
sentence sentences to each of the five questions.

"Dos and Don'ts in a Job Interview".
When completed, learners discuss as a class.
-
Teacher
introduces "would rather" by asking "How do we tell someone
that we like one thing better than another thing?" Teacher writes the
word "preference" on the board, and underneath writes "she
would rather work in an office than work in a factory." Teacher asks
learners for other substitutions.
-
Learners
complete Part b, Lesson 7, answering in complete sentences. Learners share
answers as a class, defining all unfamiliar vocabulary.
-
Teacher
conducts substitution drill with format in Part C, Lesson 7
choosing a
random subject with the following combinations: "live alone/live with a
roommate," "work inside/work outside," "take my lunch to
work/ eat out everyday," "stay busy at work/relax at work,"
"work sitting down/work on my feet."
-
Learners

responses with the class.
